Responsibile to all aspects of order placement for equipment and supplies used in operations, drilling and major capital projects.
This includes supplier selection, price evaluation, government compliance and international logistics.
Key job responsibilities include:
Preparation and implementation of procurement strategies in alignment with internal customer's business planning initiatives (operations, drilling and major capital projects)
Analyses of cost components & industry trends in support of negotiations and bid-evaluation
Coordination with supporting organizations in the areas of customs clearance, inspection, and freight forwarding
Responsible for order expediting and accurate on time delivery of required materials
On-going management of supplier integration and performance measurement to optimize supply chain efficiency
Ensuring on-going governance of the procurement process and acting as a change agent for process improvements
Strong focus on Safety, Reliability and Total Cost of Ownership
